- Cleaning Supplies / Equipment: We have all the cleaning supplies and equipment to make your home sparkle and shine! If you've got any specialty products you'd like us to use, just let us know in your special account instructions. And while we've got you covered with our own cleaning products, please understand that we can't be responsible for any damage caused by the cleaning products you provide.
- Scope of Services: DC Sunny Maids provides professional cleaning services to residential and commercial clients in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas. Our services include regular maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, decluttering, move-in cleaning, and short-term rental turnover. We may expand to offer additional services in the future.
- Service Agreement: By submitting an intake form or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DC Sunny Maids.
- Payment: We make it easy to pay! You can pay with ACH, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or check at the time of service. Please ensure payments are on time so we can keep coming back to keep your home looking amazing.
- Cancellation and rescheduling: We understand that life happens, and we're happy to work with you if you need to cancel or reschedule. Just give us one business day's notice, and we'll make sure everything gets taken care of! But if we show up and can't get in because you didn't provide running water or electricity, we'll need to charge you our standard cancellation fee.
- Price Adjustments: We pride ourselves on being upfront and transparent about our pricing, but sometimes things don't go according to plan. If our pricing calculator underestimates the price of your cleaning, we'll give you a call and email to let you know. We may have to adjust the price, charge hourly, or refuse service, but we'll work with you to find a solution that works for everyone. And if our technicians have to pay for parking, we'll let you know, and you can reimburse them.
- Liability: We take great care to ensure your home is well-protected during our cleaning service, but accidents can happen. We're insured and bonded, but we can't be responsible for any damage or loss to items that aren't properly secured or for damage that was there before we arrived. Please let us know if there are any items that need special care or attention, and we'll do our best to take care of them.
- Access: We want to make sure we can get into your home or business at the time of your appointment so we can get to work, making everything sparkle and shine! So please give us a key, alarm code, or whatever else we need. If we can't get in and have to cancel, we might have to charge you, but we'll work with you to find a solution that works for everyone.
- Delays: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays in our arrival time. Therefore, our cleaning technicians are allowed a two-hour window to deal with traffic, parking, and any other surprises that may arise. We strive to arrive on time and will make every effort to keep you informed of any delays.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: We're dedicated to making sure you're happy with our service! If there's anything you're not satisfied with, please let us know within 24 hours of your appointment, and we'll do our best to make things right. We want you to be thrilled with our service and enjoy a clean space! Someone from our staff will contact you to collect details and see if a "correction re-clean" is needed!
- Refund Policy: Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but we offer our satisfaction guarantee program to help make things right!
- Confidentiality: Your privacy is important to us! We won't share any information about you or your property with anyone else without your permission.
- Pets: We love pets and know they're part of your family! Please ensure they're secured during our cleaning service so we can get to work without distractions. If a pet gets in the way, we might have to refuse service, but we'll work with you to find a solution that works for everyone. And if anything happens with your pet while we're there, we're not responsible.
